Where are the Saints?

Christianity has to be seen to be believed. Who have been your Christian models? Where are the saints? They are the “Christ-bearers,” the ones who if you should meet them, you are secretly also meeting Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). That also goes for the saints. We need more than “Christ-believers”; we need Christ-revealers. After all, who are our cultural models today? Athletes, actors, the “rich and famous”? What about our political leaders? Should Americans be modelling them? We have a crisis of leadership today. And we really need a few Christian saints to help us get through it.
