I am calmed by the sea. I wrote a little poem about resting on the sea. Imagine how the following would feel:
Sometimes I would like to be a bead of water resting
On the rolling stomach of the Sea,
Just for a time, so as to fully merge with oceanic Water.
As I would cleave to that vast Body,
The warming sun would relentlessly melt my metered being
Into a destined evaporation heavenward,
When I would lift off weightless,
Into a dimly sensed cloud.
And after a time of simple suspension,
Floating amidst the mystical marine layer,
Carried wherever the breeze takes me,
I would again happily rain upon the Beloved.
