Forgiveness

Jesus came healing. That means, Jesus came forgiving, for there is no more important form of healing than forgiveness. Forgiveness is a holy balm which cleanses and renews the blood of common life. Without forgiveness intimacy and love are doomed; without forgiveness our hearts are destined to become stone, and we the inmates of hell; without forgiveness neither healing nor salvation will ever happen. It is forgiveness which introduces law to love, justice to mercy, judgment to compassion. Forgiveness permits love to have the final word about a human life.
