It is best to seek You empty,
So You may fill me with Yourself.
The best I can offer You
Is an empty vessel openly awaiting
Your radiant, radiating indwelling.
You are ever the Subject between us
As is Love, which You bring
And which You are,
So that to encounter You
Is to breathe in Your Love
Which is not only Your Life,
Your truth and Substance,
But once received, has become
My life, truth and substance.
Now we share Your Being, Love.
There is no greater honor or reward.
You fill me with Yourself,
That I may treasure You in me.
Contemplating You motionless and silent,
Mine is a singular focus: You,
Bodiless yet Being Itself,
Beyond the confines of matter,
Yet all that really matters.
Perhaps You have granted me flesh
So I may dwell in this universe
Of time and space, offering us a time
And space for You to fill, like air
Fills the space granted to it.
I must then celebrate emptiness,
For it makes possible Your generation
Of a sanctuary for You to dwell
In me as the Temple of Us,
The sacred realm for sharing You with You.
