Do Not Fret

Last week, while working out at our local YMCA, I noticed the back of a T-shirt of a young woman. There was a picture of a donut and around it on top was the word DONUT, and under the donut was the word “WORRY.” Obviously it really meant, “Do not worry.” Beneath the word “worry” was the phrase, “Be Happy.” I realized then and there that this would be the subject of God Talk today. After all, these days many of us find ourselves worrying, fretting about our country and state of the world, in addition to usual worrying about ourselves and our loved ones. Yet God tells us not to worry or fret about our lives.
